The option is built as two 30-mark subjects, and each is split 20 content and 10 pedagogy, which puts 20 of the 60 on pedagogy. Ten-in-mathematics-only is the shape of one subject mistaken for the whole option. Thirty would be half the option and overstates it, though it is the most tempting wrong answer because pedagogy feels heavier than it is. And the last option is the belief that costs candidates most: pedagogy is a named part of every subject section on both papers, not a separate Child Development block, which is why a candidate who prepares only content is capped at forty of these sixty marks.
